How do I book Secret Salon for my wedding?
Send us your wedding date, getting ready location, services needed, and number of people. We will confirm availability and send a proposal with all the details.
Do you travel on-site for weddings?
Yes. We are a fully mobile team and come directly to your venue, hotel suite, rental home, or private residence anywhere in San Diego, North County, Temecula, Fallbrook, and the surrounding areas.
Is there a travel fee?
Most local locations are included. Venues farther out may have a small travel fee that we will outline clearly in your proposal.
How far in advance should I book?
Brides usually reserve their date 6 to 12 months ahead. Popular months like May, June, September, and October book up the fastest.

Do you offer bridal hair and makeup trials?
Yes. Trials are highly recommended and are done at our studio or in your home depending on availability.
When should I schedule my trial?
Most brides book their preview 2 to 3 months before the wedding or whenever you have your dress fitting or engagement shoot.
What do I bring to my trial?
Photos of hairstyles you love, any hair accessories, your wedding dress photos, and a makeup look that inspires you. Clean, dry hair is perfect.

How long does wedding hair and makeup take?
We typically allow 45 per service depending on complexity. We create a custom timeline so your whole party runs smoothly.
How early will you arrive on the wedding day?
We arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to set up. You never have to worry about timing.
Can you accommodate large bridal parties?
Absolutely. We bring additional artists as needed so everyone is ready on time without any rushing.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?
Yes. Our airbrush application is lightweight, long wearing, sweat resistant, and perfect for outdoor weddings and warm California weather.
Is airbrush good for oily or mature skin?
Airbrush makeup is great for most skin types but we carry traditional just in case. .
Do you use lashes?
We include complimentary individual or strip lashes for all brides.

Should I have clean or dirty hair?
Clean, dry hair is always best. We bring products to add texture, grip, and hold.
Can you work with extensions?
Yes. Clip in extensions are very common and create amazing fullness and longevity.
Do you place hair accessories or veils?
Yes. We style and secure everything for you.

What is required to reserve my date?
A signed contract and non-refundable retainer fee.
When is the final balance due?
The remaining balance is due on or before the wedding day. We accept multiple payment methods.
What happens if I need to adjust services or timing?
Just reach out. We are flexible and do our best to accommodate changes however we do not allow cancellations of services, so make sure friends and family are fully committed.

Hydrate, exfoliate gently, and avoid new skincare products 1 to 2 weeks before the event.
How do I prepare my hair before styling?
Make sure your hair is 100 percent dry and washed the night before unless we instruct otherwise.
What should I wear while getting ready?
A robe or loose top that does not pull over your head.
